About Kourtney’s Hope for the Animals
Lynn Studstill
Lynn Studstill founded Kourtney’s Hope For The Animals to honor her daughter’s love for animals. What started as a personal mission has grown into a nonprofit organization supporting shelters and animals in need.
Lynn works closely with the Gilchrist County Animal Shelter and the local community to ensure animals receive care, compassion, and a chance at a better life.
Kourtney’s Story
Kourtney was the kind of person who loved without hesitation. From a young age, she was drawn to animals who needed extra care—the overlooked, the abandoned, the ones who simply needed someone to see them. She volunteered at animal shelters, opened her heart and home to strays, and gave her time freely, never expecting recognition in return. Helping animals was not something she did; it was who she was.
On April 7th, 2019, Kourtney’s life was tragically cut short. Her loss shook her family and her community deeply. While her time here was far too brief, the compassion she showed and the lives she touched left a lasting impact that could not end with her passing.
Kourtney Hope for the Animals was created to carry her love forward. The organization exists to honor her legacy by providing food, shelter, and medical care to animals in need—continuing the work Kourtney cared so deeply about. Every act of kindness, every animal helped, is a reflection of the heart she shared so generously.
Through this work, Kourtney’s spirit lives on—in hope, in compassion, and in every life given a second chance.
